| MouseMitt International was formed in 1990 by two entrepreneurs. Tana and Alfred Brinnand, owners of a small but thriving computer graphics company. |

Had it not been for an overriding desire to concentrate on their monitors, rather than on their wrists, the MouseMitt (as the product was first called) might ne
ver have been born. |

But "pounding the keys" hurt. "Mousing around" hurt! |
|
| Bottom line: designing on
the computers for hours on end, day after day, was tough. Desperate to cushion their aching wrists (which began to throb ominously every time they created a new masterpiece), the Brinnands began thinking seiously of ways to protect their wrists. |

| So, armed with an ancient Singer sewing machine and their unfaltering creative collaboration, the devoted couple began stitching what was eventually to become the world's first Computer Glove.
Both partners could immediately see a world-wide need for a product like this.

| They consulted with doctors and physical therapists, tried it out on friends and colleagues, and began to modify and develop the design. Then they did the next obvious thing: they filed for a patent. |

| Hire Someone. Quick! |

| It also became obvious that in order to keep up with the demand for the Mitts, skilled sewing help would have to be found. This move took place almost immediately, since the wrist supports became very popular, very quickly. |
|

Alfred and Tana had finally found a way to "keyboard" and "mouse" in comfort, which made them, and a whole bunch of other people, very happy. |
|
 |
|
| Lots of people all over the world started to buy and sell MouseMitts. The US government awarded Alfred and Tana the patent. And they lived happily ever after. |
